Operation

Getting more from the system you already have

Many comfort complaints and high power bills come from settings, not broken equipment. We tune how the system runs.

OP-01

Seasonal set-up

Changeover between heating and cooling seasons, with set-points checked against how the building is used.

OP-02

Time schedules

Plant running when people are in the building, not overnight or over the weekend.

OP-03

Controls and BMS settings

Sensors checked and conflicts fixed, such as heating and cooling fighting each other in the same space.

OP-04

Comfort complaints

Hot and cold spots, draughts and noise investigated with measurements, then rebalanced or corrected.

OP-05

Energy tune-up

Finding waste: dirty coils, plant running after hours, outdoor air rates that are higher than needed.

OP-06

Guidance for your team

A short, practical handover for the building manager or facilities team on how to run the system.

Residential Heat pump servicing

Heat pump servicing for homes

A clean heat pump heats better, costs less to run and lasts longer. We service most brands, including units we didn't install. For a heat pump that runs most days, once a year is a good rule.

  • Filters washed and the indoor coil and fan cleaned
  • Drain and condensate line cleared and checked
  • Outdoor unit cleaned, with mounting and pipework checked
  • Performance check, and a short report on anything to watch

Repairs

Breakdowns and fault finding

Not heating or cooling, leaking water, error codes, strange noises, or tripping the power.

We find the cause, explain it in plain words, and either fix it on the spot or give you a price. Maintenance agreement clients get priority.

Speed things up: send us a photo of the error code on the controller, and of the label on the side of the indoor and outdoor units (model and serial number).

Inspections Reports

Inspections and condition reports

For building owners, property managers and buyers who need to know what they have, what it's worth keeping, and what to budget for.

Condition assessment

Equipment age, condition, refrigerant and remaining life, unit by unit.

Replacement planning

What to replace and when, with indicative costs for your budget.

Pre-purchase checks

A clear picture of the HVAC before you buy or lease a building.

Ventilation review

Outdoor air and exhaust checked against NZS 4303 and the Building Code.

Every report is written to be used: photos, findings, and recommendations in priority order.

Tell us about your system

Send a few photos of the existing units and their nameplates. We'll tell you what's worth repairing, what's worth replacing, and what the alternatives are.
